Account Not Active

An AdSense account does not exist for this login, as it is associated with an unapproved application. For more information about your application, please review the message we sent to the email address you provided with your application.

Hey, I got this message, guys! I have been using AdSense for almost three years!

Do you want to see the screen?

Sad news, as I never made anything against their TOS, to the best of my knowledge.

Dear Google team,

Today I saw that I cannot login to my AdSense account. As nothing was amiss, and this came absolutely of out a blue, I would like to explain my position.

My name is Alex Radich, and I have been working on a network of sites, blogs, with Google Adsense as an only means of monetization for my sites. We   use AdWords for business with decent budget, Analytics, etc. I have also propagated a Firefox with Google features on my multiple blogs lately, with more than 20 signups only for the last week. I integrated Adsense in my new Personality Development and Russian Jokes sites, too. As I am very persistent, and have been very loyal to Google for years, it is a kind of frustration that I got this kind of treatment. I am sure this is a mistake that can be quickly solved as I have not violated any Google TOS, my sites are full of great content, visited by many people, and of course no click fraud (and I see that I have a pretty low CTR).
Thank you for your cooperation, and I hope to see my Google AdSense back soon.

Best regards,
Alex Radich.

It was quite a frustration from the beginning, when you understand that many things depend on other people’s decision, and I read about Kumiko Cash Quest  about her being banned from AdSense. She explained that she used to take part in some clicking programs, and that could afford for the misfortune. But let me see what occures with me. As far as I read, my case is not final according to the message. I wrote a letter explaining my point.

Let me see what I can lose. At the moment I earn 100-150 USD a month from AdSense, and only from referrals to Firefox I made 25 USD in last week. I think I can make more than that with my 5,000+ page impressions per day in my blog network.

I am pretty sure I can make 3,000 USD a month within one or two years, and it can be any advertizing network, direct sales, affiliates, information selling. I will keep you informed about this entertaining and thrilling story.

How Switching Users to Firefox Can Significantly Increase Your AdSense Earnings

Saturday, June 9th, 2007

There is a nice browser called Firefox by Mozilla with integrated Google Toolbar and a lot of nice features that help you browse Internet with more security and usability. I will explain some nice features that Firefox has. I recommend you to install it and enjoy Internet to the extent you have never done before. If you are using Internet Explorer, you may consider switching to Firefox, and I will explain you why.

You Can Significantly Increase Your AdSense Earnings

When you refer your readers to Firefox, you get 1 USD for each installation. It is quite simple.

If you persuade your readers that Firefox is useful to them, they will probably install Firefox. But how many of them actually use it. I used AWStats charts to check which browsers were used by our customers in May 2007 for our business site www.eastonhouse.net :

You see that Firefox users are only 11% of the whole readership. Let us assume that more than 50 % will be using Firefox in a year or two. You can earn 1 USD for each person who switches. Do you see the potential growth?

Let us calculate together. Assume you have 3000 readers a month, and 2400 of them use Internet Explorer. We believe you can have less than 50 % of your readers using Explorer, so 900 of them could be converted. And that is a potential of 900 USD per month. Of course not all of them will switch, but you can use more aggressive ways (keep in mind you do not want to lose you audience, though).

What Are the Aggressive Ways You Can Use to Persuade Your Users

There are scripts provided by Explorer Destroyer website that detect if your user browse your site with Internet Explorer. Then they provide three kinds of encouragement, according to your choice. If you are sure of your readership, you can use more aggressive ways, and if you are afraid of losing readers, you can use less aggressive options.

1. So-called Mild Encouragement (level of earnings $$)

At this level you only see a header over your content, with your recommendations, and a button with your AdSense referral code at the top right corner (you can choose yourself what button to put there).

2. Semi-serious (much more earnings $$$$)

The second level warns that this site is not compatible with Internet Explorer (this may not be actually true but  it helps to persuade).

3. Dead serious

There is no way further to continue. Either you install or you quit. I would not recommend this way unless you are absolutely sure that your readers will not find what they are looking for, on other sites.

How to Install

Go to  Explorer Destroyer website for detailed instructions. The whole trick is to change one line of your HTML code, the <body> tag, with their JavaScripts functions and calls. You can edit the text yourself, to make it more appealing for your readers, and it is very important to insert YOUR OWN REFERRAL code from your AdSense account!

What Are Other Mild Ways to Recommend Firefox?

- Put buttons provided by Google, to your sidebar

- Describe advantages of Firefox to your users

- Tell about nice plugins that Firefox has

- Implement features that are available only to Firefox users.

I hope this article was helpful, and you are now encouraged to install Firefox and drastically increase your AdSense earnings.

Earn at Metacafe

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007

There is a cute project called Metacafe that offers producer rewards for uploaded videos. You must hold all the rigths to all the content, though. So if you use any music, it should be written by you and performed by you or your friend. The Metacafe recommends:

If your friend wrote, played and recorded the music, and she gave you the rights to use the music, profit from it and sub-license it to other media types, then you can use the music in your video. You should also thank her profusely and take her out to dinner anywhere she wants and offer to wash her dog.

That is funny, and they have a sense of humor.

For every 1000 views of your video you get 5 USD, and for your video to qualify for payment it should be viewed minimum 20,000 times and have a score of 3.0 + in customer ratings. Cool system as most prolific users have earned already 25-30 K USD.

Google Earnings And Universal Aura

Friday, May 11th, 2007

Google Earnings of May 2007

The earnings of October 2006 still remain unrivalled. My goal for this year is to make stable more than 300 USD per month in AdSense, and 700 USD from other sources online. So I am making plans of how to do this. I have got multiple small websites that I use for monetizing my web efforts.

To this day I make a few conclusions of how to progress in AdSense earnings.

1. To be more stable make multiple websites.

Unless you are a guru like John Chow or Darren Rowse, it is likely your web site does not bring you enough money. So you can try different themes and niches.

2. Some niches provide great outcome with little effort.

I have a realization that when you make something of use like pictures that people are fond of, you can attract a lot of traffic from the first month. And monetizing can be good.

3. Different days bring completely different results.

It may be Universal Aura or some natural fluctuations that make people decide what to visit and what to click. Formerly I had the best results in the nights as Ukraine is in different time zone than USA and Canada (most lucrative markets). Then the best results came during the weekends. For example, last weekend my income reached more than 20 USD. And there are some peaks during the week. eCPM varies a lot from day to day, too.

Recently I read about higher paying keywords, and that is a technique I am planning to try. The gist is that there are keywords where there is little competition and plenty of sponsors, so average cost per click can be significantly higher, times higher.

My final conclusion is you should never stop, and apply your experience, intuition and knowledge to develop your virtual real estate and grow your audience and your income.

My New-born Project Stats, May 2007

Friday, May 4th, 2007

This is my Analytics graph as of May 3, 2007. I live in Ukraine, so here it is May 4, and for Google this day starts only at 10 am Kiev time. So let us see what we have already. I launched this project shortly after my 33th birthday, on April 6, 2007.

So what did I do to promote my Alex Radich dot com blog? I published a review of Dot Com Mogul John Chow Make Money Online site. I registered with MyBlogLog, Technorati. I made a review for Ja Kel Daily and Kumiko Suzuki quest. I published a link on some of my other sites that produce some not-so-well-targeted traffic, I must admit. Nevertheless I had 65 visitors yesterday, and not-so-high 1.17 pageviews per visit rate.

As for me the real game starts from 1K visitors a day, and about 70% of today traffic are not targeted, I have a long-long way to go.

Dot Com Mogul Requirements

Thursday, May 3rd, 2007

I read about Dot Com Mogul Requirements as stated by John Chow. Let us see how they relate to what I am doing at the moment.

1. Income is to be made from Internet. Well, my income is only about 5% of what I am doing offline, and my work at blog reading and writing takes most of my time lately as I delved into blogosphere only a month ago, and enjoyed it a lot! I presume my time investment will pay off in one or two years.

2. The minimum Internet income should be 10K USD. I set my goal at 3K USD for online income as this is a minimum requirement to live in Ukraine. Still, there is a difference in TradeHours and MoneyMachine schemes in Internet that John does not specify. They intersect in John’s case as his popularity and help of his colleagues practically result in a perfect MoneyMachine blog.

3. You have no jobs outside of the Internet. Even though blogging is a part-time occupation for me, I really do not have a job but private business with little involvement which is really great for a blogging.

4. You have a personal blog with your name as the domain name. I do! http://www.alexradich.com is exactly what is needed!

5. Your blog must be updated at least once per week. I meet this requirement to this date.

6. A Google search with your name must be at #1 spot. I guess what bloggers with popular names or with names of some celebrity should do. Their names could be too popular to meet this requirement. But mine qualifies. I checked with Google and found that my name search resulted in my blog being #1!

7. You must be willing to help other mogul dot com wannabes. I will! I am keen to help others! That is in my nature.

So summarizing the task of meeting 7 requirements I have only one problem, and that is #2 rule. But I will work on that, day after day!

Trading Hours for Money?

Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007

There is a considerable difference between earning residual income and trading hours for money. Time being the most scarceful resource that any human owns, we have to concentrate on what needs to be done to make a money making vehicle from our website/blog.

Most blogs are online diaries that people are fond of writing and exchanging links with their penpals. Some of them try to monetize their work, and after some month they receive a few bucks here and there, from AdSense or Affiliates.

So what are the TradeHours jobs and what are MoneyMachine Jobs?

TradeHours Jobs

ReviewMe - the cost depends on your authority and rank, but mostly you do some work for a fixed amount of money.

PayPerPost - trade your writing ability for a few bucks.

Writing on your blog - unless you go on, your money machine will slow down significantly.

MoneyMachine Jobs

Hiring other people to write for your blog.

AdSense.

Affiliate links.

Other monetizing campaigns, like Agloco, Kontera, etc.

I Take Part in Technorati Favorites Exchange

Tuesday, May 1st, 2007

Today I visited a Dosh Dosh’s Ultimate Technorati Favorites Exchange: An Interactive Experiment

The rules are quite easy to follow. I add you on Favorites to Technorati, and ask you to add me to your Favorites on Technorati profile. As a matter of fact this resembles classical reciprocative links on websites, the difference being that you could easily track your position on Technorati table of popular blogs when you reach the top 100. At the moment there are only 190 blogs are enough to favorite you to get to the Top 100 List. Is it a difficult task to cope with? I do not think so. So I suggest you to take part in this game. Do I feel this is just a gimmick? Well, I would not favorite blogs that I do not like at all. But if they are sincere and informative then I do not object.

Please favorite my blog by clicking here. I will favorite you back in one or two days.
