AdSense Is Back!

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008

Thanks God, my Google AdSense account has been restored. They have cancelled my membership about one year ago, so I was pretty worried about that.

What I am going to do now is to concentrate on Internet marketing and Make Money Online themes, and make promises online to keep them intact.

I invested a few months of my time last year into getting as much knowledge of this as possible. I went astray off the beaten track partly due to my failures with Google and different real life troubles.

Nevertheless I am ready to go on, and to achieve my ambitious goals in the year 2008.

My News of the Past 5 Months

Monday, March 3rd, 2008

There has been a considerable timeout in my blog. What did I do meanwhile?

I went on with my work in Stay In Ukraine company, I met a lot of new friends, I started my fitness program by subscribing to Sportlife, I have been learning French for 4 months, I went on playing football indoors.

I read a dozen of books, and am on the verge of more consistent blogging.

I hope to see all my readers back for more in-depth articles about personal development.

Break in Postings

Thursday, August 2nd, 2007

I made a break in postings on my Personal Development Blog in July. I travelled to Bulgaria for two weeks and published a diary of my trip in Russian on http://bulgaria.alexradich.com/ .

Lately I had some difficult time, so I did not have enough time and peacefulness of mind to write. I am on my way to recovery, and am going to publish a lot of new articles.

My vacation pictures can be found here:

Please come back to my site, and you will find a lot of interesting stuff here!

My Current Bulgarian Impressions

Tuesday, July 17th, 2007

I did not publish during last couple of weeks as I prepared to travel and now I am in Bulgaria for about two weeks. I keep diary of my trip, in Russian, and am making a lot of pictures, so I am likely to publish parts of it here.

So what my impressions to this moment are:

The season is too short, so people need to earn as much money as they could to survive for the whole year. There are not enough working places in Sozopol, so many young and talented people leave their hometown.

There seems to be less number of Ukrainians and Russians than last years. I hear Russian speech only from time to time, and there are mainly Bulgarians, and to some extent Polish and German people rambling around.

The spirit of hospitality is there. My hosts are very friendly people, and I feel the welcoming atmosphere, despite a few envying people.

The beaches are well kept, but the water in the Central beach is dirty from sea plants and sand. It is a little gulf overunindated by people.

I will be back in Kiev in Saturday, 21st of July, so I will continue with more articles.

Five Best Advises on Happiness and Success from Viktor Frankl

Wednesday, June 27th, 2007

Viktor Frankl is quoted by Stephen Covey as a great character, a man who survived Nazi occupation and suffered in camps. When faced by death itself, he discovered that a man can choose his reaction to any stimulus, and this reaction is what differs a man from an animal and what makes one a great man who is in command of his life and his happiness and what makes another one completely dependent upon surrounding circumstances.

1. How to Discover the Meaning of Life

“The meaning of our existence is not invented by ourselves, but rather detected.”

“A man who becomes conscious of the responsibility he bears toward a human being who affectionately waits for him, or to an unfinished work, will never be able to throw away his life. He knows the “why” for his existence, and will be able to bear almost any “how.””

“What matters, therefore, is not the meaning of life in general, but rather the specific meaning of a person’s life at a given moment.”

“We can discover this meaning in life in three different ways: (1) by doing a deed; (2) by experiencing a value; and (3) by suffering.”

“Ultimately, man should not ask what the meaning of his life is, but rather must recognize that it is he who is asked. In a word, each man is questioned by life; and he can only answer to life by answering for his own life; to life he can only respond by being responsible.”

2. What is the Greatest Secret of Human Thought

“A thought transfixed me: for the first time in my life I saw the truth as it is set into song by so many poets, proclaimed as the final wisdom by so many thinkers. The truth-that love is the ultimate and the highest goal to which man can aspire. Then I grasped the meaning of the greatest secret that human poetry and human thought and belief have to impart: The salvation of man is through love and is love.”

3. How to Answer Questions of Life

“It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life - daily and hourly. Our answer must consist, not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual.”

4. What is the Main Concern in a Man’s Life

“Logotherapy…considers man as a being whose main concern consists in fulfilling a meaning and in actualizing values, rather than in the mere gratification and satisfaction of drives and instincts.”

“What man actually needs is not a tensionless state but rather the striving and struggling for some goal worthy of him. What he needs is not the discharge of tension at any cost, but the call of a potential meaning waiting to be fulfilled by him.”

5. How to Achieve Success

“Don’t aim at success - the more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it. For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side effect of one’s personal dedication to a cause greater than oneself or as the by product of one’s surrender to a person other than oneself. Happiness must happen, and the same holds for success: you have to let it happen by not caring about it. I want you to listen to what your conscience commands you to do and go on to carry it out to the best of your knowledge. Then you will live to see that in the long run - in the long run, I say! - success will follow you precisely because you had forgotten to think of it.”
